Arsenal player ratings vs Brentford: Three 5/10s underwhelm in much-changed Gunners side
Arsenal were held to a 1-1 draw with Brentford at the Emirates Stadium as Mikel Arteta rang the changes ahead of next week’s Champions League trip to Real Madrid.
Thomas Partey looked to have banked three points for the Gunners, who were deserving of their lead, but fox in the box Yoane Wissa turned passed David Raya on the swivel to share the spoils. There were only six starting line-up survivors from the famous win over Real, and although Arteta introduced the big guns in the second half, the hosts were unable to regain the lead.
