The goalkeeper’s decision-making is being highlighted for the wrong reasons
Ian Wright has expressed concerns over David Raya ahead of Arsenal’s season-defining Champions League tie against Real Madrid.
The Gunners are preparing for the visit of the Spanish giants for the first leg of their quarter-final clash, and prepared for game with a 1-1 draw at Everton in the Premier League.
“I saw something the other day with David Raya on the penalties,” Wright told Premier League Productions. “He seems to be taking this massive leap to one side, which is almost giving the penalty taker so much time to say, ‘well, he’s definitely going that way’.
