Ange Postecoglou stares down reporter in chaotic rant after Chelsea beat Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou stared down Sky Sports reporter Patrick Davison during a box office interview after Thursday’s Premier League defeat against Chelsea. The Aussie boss unleashed a frustrated rant about VAR after the 1-0 loss at Stamford Bridge, during which he appeared to cup his ears at Spurs fans.
Enzo Fernandez’s second-half header proved to be the difference as Chelsea handed their bitter rivals their 16th league defeat of the season. Nicolas Jackson and Pape Matar Sarr saw goals disallowed after the Argentine midfielder’s opener, and Postecoglou was visibly disgusted by the latter denial. After full-time, the Spurs boss aimed fire at VAR for “killing the game”, describing its use as “crazy” and “madness”.
