Anfield eyes improvement at York Valkyrie despite Challenge Cup win
YORK Valkyrie may have sealed their place in the Women’s Challenge Cup quarter-finals with relative ease, but Lindsay Anfield believes there are still areas her side must fix up if they are to challenge for the trophy again this year.
Savannah Andrade’s hat-trick, alongside doubles from Tamzin Renouf and new signings Jazz Rampton and Tara Moxon, helped the Valkyrie to a 54-6 rout of Women’s Championship side Featherstone on their return to the LNER Community Stadium.
